Welcome
Meet our Golden Tours representative at the Golden Tours Visitor Centre in Victoria, who will escort you to Buckingham Palace. The Meeting time is at 9.30am (please arrive 10 minutes before meeting time).

Our special timed entry ensures a breath-taking visit to the official residence of Britain’s sovereigns since 1837. Open for just 8 weeks a year, the State rooms are an opportunity not to be missed! Marvel at the splendour of the rooms, used on official occasions by The Queen to entertain her guests. Be dazzled by the beautiful ballroom and throne room, before ending your royal tour with a walk through the stunning south garden.

Journey to Stonehenge
Please make your way back to the Golden Tours Visitor Centre in Victoria for the ‘Simply Stonehenge’ tour for check in at 1.45pm. Your driver will take you straight to Stonehenge for an extended visit. Upon arrival audio guides are available in difference languages. 

Stonehenge 
Wander around the world heritage site and be captivated by the unique rock formation! Situated on Salisbury Plain, 40 ton rocks stand-alone since their arrival 5,000 years ago. An abundance of theories surround Stonehenge; from the belief it is a religious temple to an astronomical clock and even a Bronze Age burial ground! Decide for yourself whilst discovering the history behind this mysterious monument.

This tour will finish between 6pm and 7pm in Kensington.

Please note: This Tour is unescorted.
  • For safety reasons, pushchairs are not permitted in the State Rooms. They must be checked in and reclaimed at the exit. Baby-carriers are available for loan.
  • A one-way system operates along the entire visitor route for safety reasons.
  • Photography and filming (for private use only) and use of mobile phones are permitted in the Palace garden. Mobile phones must be switched off elsewhere on the visitor route.
  • Clients that require mobility access must book directly with Buckingham Palace on (+44) (0)20 7766 7324.

Full moon falls on June 23, 2013 at 11:32 UTC (6:32 a.m. CDT in the U.S.). GMT/BST + 1 Hour. Thus, for many, the moon appears about equally full in the June 22 sky as it does on June 23. This full moon is not only the closest and largest full moon of the year. It also presents the moon’s closest encounter with Earth for all of 2013. The moon will not be so close again until August, 2014.
