Salisbury Christmas Market - 27th Nov - 20th Dec 2014

scm2012
Come to Salisbury’s lovely and very British Christmas Market!Rated by the Daily Telegraph in 2013 as one of the ‘Top 5 Christmas Markets in the UK’, we believe you will find it to be one of the most attractive and enjoyable Christmas Markets in the country.
One of the things that makes Salisbury Christmas Market stand out is that we take great care to source the very best exhibitors we can find. In particular, we are passionate about having as many British made goods on sale as possible, in addition to some lovely hand-made crafts from Europe and beyond.  We believe the considerable effort we make is demonstrated in the splendid array of chalets we have each year, where visitors will find lots of wonderfully inspiring artisans, designers, makers and small businesses who love what they do and sell.
Apart from the very high standard of all the exhibitors, we put much emphasis on creating a Christmas Market that is tasteful, inviting and visually appealing in a traditional way: beautifully decorated chalets, twinkly white pea-lights, a huge Christmas tree, and even our own bandstand where local choirs and schools will serenade you while you shop. And not far from the Christmas Market, younger visitors can visit Father Christmas, in his very own chalet.
This year we will also be celebrating ‘Christmas Traditions from around Europe’, with special events planned for St. Andrew’s Day, St. Lucia Day and St. Nikolaus Day, as well as the annual Lantern Procession on Thursday 27th November and a new event called ‘All Salisbury Sings’ on Friday 19thDecember.
With this and many other things taking place over the 24 days, we are confident visitors of all ages will find Salisbury Christmas Market an exceptional and inspiring experience.
